One of the stand-out features of the new Honda Izy mowers is the brand new engine. Honda's latest Euro-5 compliant, four-stroke GCVx engine is powerful and efficient.
These new engines offer enhanced combustion by creating stronger turbulence inside the chamber, while also being more tolerant to lower quality fuels. All Honda Izys have a new auto choke system, offering improved temperature sensing and choke optimisation, for easier starting even on those damp and cold mornings.
You’ll welcome the news that the serviceable parts such as the spark plugs and the oil drain are now even easier to access. The fuel filler cap is larger which makes filling up with fuel virtually mess-free - and you can access the air filter without the need for tools. This makes the Honda Izy HRG 466 PK even more convenient than ever.
The cutter deck is 18" / 46cm and is made from pressed steel which is incredibly lightweight whilst remaining extremely hard wearing and resistant to water, corrosion and UV rays. So whether you get stuck in showers of rain or have to work through a heatwave your lawn mower will stay looking as good as the day you bought it.
With the Honda Izy HRG 466 PK push lawn mower you get six preset cutting heights that range from 20mm to 74mm which means your lawn mower is pretty much ready for any length of grass you need it for. Ideal for medium-sized gardens of up to 1,200m² (1-2 tennis courts).
The Honda Izy HRG 466 PK lawn mower is powered by you! Therefore you can set the pace to suit you or your conditions. You can go as quickly or as slowly as you like. You won’t be at risk of your lawn mower running away from you which is great news if you need to get up close to delicate areas - you will remain in complete control at all times.
The HRG 466 PK also benefits from Honda’s high airflow collection bag made from ultra fine mesh, which along with the rotating blades creates a vacuum effect ensuring maximum collection without affecting the airflow and whilst still preventing even the finest dust particles from getting through. This model features a 50 litre grass bag meaning more mowing and less time emptying! Should you choose to discharge rather than collect there is a built in rear shield which drops down when the grassbag is not fitted for added protection.
If you wish to mulch your grass instead of collecting it, you can purchase an additional mulching kit. If you choose to mulch your grass it will be recycled to your lawn where it will act as a nutrient-rich fertilizer. You won't need to buy additional products and you will be fertilizing as you mow, so you will save time and money.
The Izy HRG 466 PK features folding handles which allow you to store your mower in the garden shed without having to worry about how much room it takes up.
