The steel cutting deck offers a 42cm cutting width and being hand pushed is useful for manoeuvring around garden objects, such as trees or garden furniture. The 6 cutting heights range from 22-65cm - ideal for all situations, whatever the length of your grass.

If conditions allow it, you can choose to mulch using the handy mulch plug which comes as a standard accessory with this Mountfield HP42. If you choose to mulch the grass clippings are recycled back onto your lawn where they will act as a natural and rich - not to mention free - fertilizer.
