Stihl MSA 80 C-B
The MSA 80 battery-powered chainsaw is a powerful new addition to the AK System range of chainsaws. The first AK System chainsaw with a 14” guide bar, it has the best power-to-weight ratio in the range. Designed for private use at home, such as cutting firewood, pruning branches, wood working and felling small trees of up to 25 cm in diameter.
The MSA 80 C-B Cordless Chainsaw from STIHL is made for ambitious private users, suitable for processing firewood, pruning and felling small trees up to 25cm in diameter. Part of the STIHL AK System battery range, the MSA 80 C-B must be used with an AK 30 S battery.
The MSA 80 C-B is the first AK System chainsaw to feature a 14" guide bar.
The power output of the MSA 80 is comparable to the MSA 160 from the STIHL AP System or the MS 162 petrol saw.
The new and improved Ergo lever keeps the interlock button engaged, meaning the MSA 80 is easy to position at different angles with reduced wrist strain.
The MSA 80 is 30% more powerful than the MSA 70 and at only 200g heavier it offers excellent power to weight.
Like the MSA 60 and 70, the chain sprocket cover can be removed and the chain tensioned without needing tools.A transparent chain oil tank provides good visibility of your oil level.
STIHL recommend using the AK 30 S battery with this saw to benefit from the new power boost function. This battery and saw combination gives a max working time of 35 minutes.
All our STIHL machines are run, checked and tuned and given full PDI (Pre-delivery Inspection) before leaving our premises. This means we will unpack your Stihl, start it, test it and individually tune it for maximum power and efficiency. We ensure that your machine is set up and ready to run when it is handed over to you.
