Stihl HTA 50 Pole Pruner
Lightweight cordless pole pruner with high cutting performance for tree maintenance work in medium-sized to large gardens. Part of the AK System and fitted with 1⁄4" P – PM3 saw chain and Rollomatic E Mini guide bar. The HTA 50 has side-mounted chain tensioning and a branch hook for easy removal of cuttings from the tree canopy (for use on small branches only).
The total length of the HTA 50 is 280cm, which can be extended further with the HTA 50 Shaft Extension (LA02 820 5000) to a length of 330cm. The Shaft Extension is an optional extra. This makes the HTA 50 suitable for reaching branches up to roughly 4m high, and up to 4.5m high with the shaft extension.
It's the ideal pole pruner for homeowners who have trees to maintain in their garden, but would like to do so from the safety and convenience of the ground.
Weighing just 3.6kg, the HTA 50 is an entry level pole pruner. It's designed for tasks like pruning trees, thinning out shrubs and similar jobs in the garden.
The HTA 50 features a semi-transparent oil tank, giving you a clear indication as to when you need to top up your chain oil. Plus, there's hassle free chain tensioning with the side mounted adjuster, keeping your fingers away from the cutting teeth.
For storage, the HTA 50's split shaft feature allows you to separate the shaft to fit easier into your garage or shed.
The recommended battery for this pole pruner is the AK 20, which provides up to 45 minutes run time. And, as part of the STIHL AK System range, the HTA 50 is compatible with any of the batteries in the AK range.
