Stihl KMA 80 R

The STIHL KMA 80 R is a battery-powered Kombi Engine in the AK System of garden tools, designed for domestic use. Powered by a 36-volt lithium-ion battery, the STIHL KMA 80 R is a quiet, efficient and powerful tool, capable of tackling a variety of garden tasks- whether it’s pruning, trimming, mowing, clearing or cutting! Compatible with all of the STIHL Kombi Tools (except FSB-KM and FSS-KM), attaching and changing tools is quick and easy. To add a tool, all you need to do is insert your desired tool into the shaft and tighten to secure it in place.

The STIHL KMA 80R is fitted with a loop handle which has a quick-mounting system and a handle which can be adjusted to a comfortable position for the user’s height. The handle also makes tackling tasks on slopes, around trees or on uneven terrains even easier.

The KMA 80 R has a brushless EC motor with speed-adjustment on the control handle allowing 2 different speeds of operation. There is an ECO mode (level 1), for Kombi Tools suited to simple tasks such as trimming lawn edges, which entails lower energy consumption for an extended battery life. Level 2 is a full speed mode tailored to Kombi Tools suited to tasks that need more power, such as clearing leaves which requires extra battery energy.

STIHL recommend an AK30S battery for the KMA 80 R, though you can use any of the batteries in the AK range, however, working times will vary depending on which attachment you use with it. The AK 30S battery will give you the longest work time but is the heaviest of the AK batteries.

The KMA 80 R is supplied with a basic harness as standard. Kombi Tools sold separately.

All our STIHL machines are run, checked and tuned and given full PDI (Pre-delivery Inspection) before leaving our premises. This means we will unpack your Stihl, start it, test it and individually tune it for maximum power and efficiency. We ensure that your machine is set up and ready to run when it is handed over to you.

 All of our machines are supplied fully assembled, inspected, and tested by our expert technicians to ensure they are ready for immediate use. Because these products are built up and prepared in our workshop, courier delivery is NOT available.

To guarantee that your equipment reaches you in perfect condition, these items are offered on a collection-only basis from our Caistor showroom. Our team will walk you through the setup, answer any questions, and make sure everything is working exactly as it should before you take it home.
