Stihl MSA 300
The MSA 300 is STIHL's most powerful cordless chainsaw, designed for demanding professional use. Three available operating modes enable optimum battery efficiency across a range of applications such as felling, delimbing and cutting to length. Highly ergonomic and comfortable to use over longer periods of work thanks to a compact, balanced design and the STIHL anti-vibration system.

As a comparative for petrol driven chainsaws, the MSA 300 generates a mechanical output of 2.5kW.
The Stihl MSA 300 is available with a 14” (35cm), 16” (40cm) or an 18” (45cm) guide bar. Please note, cutting length will always be a little shorter than the bar length because of the way guide bars are measured. The difference between the guide bar length and cutting length varies by chainsaw model.
As with all Stihl products, the MSA 300 is packed with features:
Ematic chain lubrication system which reduces the chain oil usage by up to 50% compared to conventional lubrication systems
Integrated air-cooling filters to keep components cool for maximum lifespan. Adjustable oil pump to allow accurate metering of chainsaw oil. Three speed chain settings – 20, 24 and 30 meters per second.
The MSA 300 is part of Stihl’s AP range. It is designed to be used with the AP 500S battery. The working time of this battery will be between 20-44 minutes depending on what setting the saw is used on.

The recommended kit includes the AP 500 S Battery, which provides between 20 and 44 minutes of run time dependent on the operating mode, along with the AL501 Charger. Maximum working times are:
