Stihl HTA 66 Pole Pruner Bare Unit
Very lightweight and quiet yet powerful cordless pole pruner for grounds, garden and orchard maintenance. Fitted with 1/4" PM3 saw chain for low vibration and a clean, precise cut. Lightweight power head for easy manoeuvrability and good balance.
The rigid shaft is not extendable but offers a total length of 240cm. It comes complete with a sturdy branch hook to assist in the removal of loose cuttings from the tree when you have finished pruning to ensure your finished job looks neat and tidy.
The EC motor is quiet, yet efficient and Stihl have ensured that the battery power is directly translated into impressive performance. For increased efficiency the electronically controlled EC motor permanently monitors the load and adjusts the engine accordingly. This brushless motor is practically maintenance free and robustly designed to last a very long time.
The practical designs of the Stihl HTA 66 pole pruner include a side-mounted chain tensioning and captive nut on the sprocket cover. A locking lever (orange front) is self-resetting and for your safety and those around you, prevents unintentional switching on of the device. When the ERGO lever and shift lever are pressed, you can work continuously with ease.
You can choose from a selection of batteries, all offering different run times. Stihl suggests as a guide that the Stihl HTA 66 is used with the AP200 battery and this should give you an average run time of around 42 minutes. Please see our technical section for more information.
