Get ready for our new fuel efficient STIHL SH 56 C-E vacuum shredder for occasional users. Powered by a low emissions engine, this handheld shredder vac/blower features the STIHL ErgoStart system, making starting almost effortless. While a specialised shredder blade on the fan wheel reduces garden waste, this shredder vac also converts easily into a handheld petrol leaf blower. Fitted with a semi-automatic choke and stop switch for smooth starts, this blower automatically resets to the starting position to help prevent accidental flooding.

The vacuum shredders from STIHL pick up immense volumes of fallen leaves, cut grass and trimmings and simultaneously shred them. Reduced to less than 10% of the original volume, the organic material can be used directly for composting or mulching. With the standard accessories you can turn the vacuum shredder into a powerful blower too.

Reduced-emission engine technology
2-stroke engine with stratified charge. A fuel-free layer of air is created between the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase, reducing the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle. This results in more power with a lower weight, up to 20% lower fuel consumption than regular 2-stroke engines and significantly reduced exhaust emissions.

Anti-vibration system
Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to longer-term effects of blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL have therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system where by the oscillations from the machines engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles allowing for more comfortable and safer operation.

STIHL ErgoStart (E)
A genuine advance in easy starting. STIHL ErgoStart (E) cuts the effort required to start the tool by half, while the starter cord can be pulled at just one third of the normal force. All it takes is 2 fingers and a gentle pull action.

One handled control with soft grip area
For a secure and comfortable grip. The integrated anti-static system counters electrostatic charging

Throttle lock with built in stop switch
The running machine switches off immediately after a brief press of a button. Once the machine is at a standstill, the ignition activates again automatically, meaning it is always ready to start.

Catalytic converter
Considerably reduces the quantity of harmful particles in the exhaust gas

Manual fuel pump (Purger)

A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required following extended breaks in operations.

All our STIHL machines are run, checked and tuned and given full PDI (Pre-delivery Inspection) before leaving our premises. This means we will unpack your Stihl, start it, test it and individually tune it for maximum power and efficiency. We ensure that your machine is set up and ready to run when it is handed over to you.

 All of our machines are supplied fully assembled, inspected, and tested by our expert technicians to ensure they are ready for immediate use. Because these products are built up and prepared in our workshop, courier delivery is NOT available.

To guarantee that your equipment reaches you in perfect condition, these items are offered on a collection-only basis from our Caistor showroom. Our team will walk you through the setup, answer any questions, and make sure everything is working exactly as it should before you take it home.
