The lightweight and easy to handle Stihl HS 82 T petrol hedge trimmer features a powerful and reliable 27.2 cc 0.7kw 2-stroke air-cooled engine. Aimed at busy professionals, the Stihl HS 82 T can cut equally well vertically or horizontally. Boasting an impressive 24”/60cm or 30" / 75cm double sided cutting blade you will be able to cut and shape formal hedges with speed and precision. For your convenience and ease of operation a single lever starts the hedge trimmer; the choke, start gas, operating position and stop function are integrated onto one operating element.

The Stihl HS 82 T is reliable and easy to start and this is down to two clever features. One being the electronic ignition module - fully encapsulated it is protected from damp and dirt. And the second simple yet effective feature is the manual fuel pump (purger). At the touch of a button fuel is delivered to the carburettor, which means that if you need to take a short break the number of starting pulls required to get going again is seriously reduced saving you time and energy.

The multi position handle is designed to be comfortable to hold and will allow you to work in comfort even in confined and hard to reach areas. The blades are durable and together with the reliable gearbox you are assured of fast cutting speeds, ideal for even the most demanding user.

The Stihl HS 82 T up-to-date Stihl 2-mix engine has been designed specifically for the new generation of hedge trimmers and offers faster acceleration combined with low fuel consumptions and emissions which is better for the environment and makes for a cleaner working environment. There is, of course, plenty of power available when you need that extra boost, for cutting thicker shrubs for example.

The trimming variation or “T” of the blades have a special shape and feature smaller tooth spacing and lower tooth height, this combined with the gearing for a high stroke rate, means that you can achieve a neater and more specific cut. You can achieve a highly professional finish with the minimum of fuss.

The Stihl HS 82 T is easy to operate thanks to the swivelling multi-function handle - the The handle rotates by 90° to the left and right, and this will allow you to find the best cutting position suit the job in hand with the greatest of ease. Another great feature that will allow you to work in comfort is the anti-vibrations system. Stihl’s innovative system means that the oscillations from the machine's engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
